As Rotman Commerce's first association dedicated to governance and policy, we create the space for framework discussions, meaningful connections with leaders, and individuals that will move ideas into action.
This is where the narrative changes.
At RCPPA, we believe business students should not stand on the sidelines of the decisions shaping society. Built on a vision of civic responsibility and strategic thinking, we empower students to engage with public policy, challenge ideas, and lead meaningful change.

We are building a student-driven platform where commerce meets public policy, combining critical thinking, real-world issues, and collaborative dialogue to elevate how students engage with our future.
From policy debates to industry connections, every initiative is designed to develop informed, action-oriented leaders who can think critically, speak with purpose, and drive real-world change.
Together, we're building the leaders who will shape our businesses, our institutions, and the world we live in.

our vision & mission explained
Mission
The Rotman Commerce Public Policy Association exists to bridge the gap between traditional business education and public decision-making by equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and practical exposure they will need to understand and influence the policies that shape businesses, institutions, and society.
"I co-founded RCPPA with several other like minded friends who were sick and tired of watching the world go by when we ourselves had the opportunity to change the narrative"

Vision
We seek to empower a generation of commerce students who not only understand public policy, but believe it is their responsibility and duty to actively shape it using their voices, ideas, and leadership to influence the future of business and governance.
